When I first started getting into crafting, I pretty much just used my Cricut machine and had a desk in the corner of my bedroom. I slowly started discovering new mediums and techniques and then discovered how fun stamping was. I was perfectly happy in my little corner.
A few months ago, I got the opportunity to turn a whole room into a craft room! I didn’t know what I was missing. It was a long process, but so worth it! I’ll take you on my little DIY journey.
I’ve only wanted a blog for my whole life… well, since I’ve known what a blog is. But why? My life is not what one would consider blog-worthy. I’ve always thought of it as a “Dear Diary” type deal, but we are in the 21st Century and a blog can be anything you want! And what I want right now is to share my card making journey. Still not exciting, but maybe you’ll find some happiness here or pick up a tip or two. That’s the plan, Stan.
I love making cards. LIKE really love making cards. If you would have told me that I’d be into this about 10 years ago, I’d think you were crazy. But I love it. I love paper! And ink! And stamps, oh my the stamps. And markers. Markers are my obsession. Not sure why, I’m not even that good at coloring. But hey, it’s all about having fun. And you know what’s even more fun that making cards? Giving them to people. Because, kindness. This world needs more of it and it’s my little way of spreading kindness.
So, welcome to my happy little world. I hope that you find something “blog-worthy” here.
